Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Stock Investing Pro?

Stock Investing Pro is an advanced web-based platform tailored for investors who want institutional-grade insights. It combines robust quantitative analysis, cycle-normalized DCF modeling, and dynamic technical regime detection into our 60/40 Master Confluence Framework.

How does the Cycle-Normalized DCF Calculator work?

Unlike naive DCF models that extrapolate peak earnings into the future, our engine normalizes Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) across 5-year business cycles and relevers asset beta via the Hamada equation. Read the full tutorial in our Cycle-Normalized DCF Guide.

What are Market Regimes and Rolling Z-Scores?

Our technical engine scans 50-day rolling Z-scores for trend strength (ADX) and volatility (ATR/Bollinger Bands) to identify whether a stock is in a Trending, Ranging, Volatile, or Quiet state. Indicator weights adjust dynamically to eliminate whipsaw losses. Learn more in our Market Regimes Guide.

How do I import my portfolio?

You can directly upload your holdings via a standard CSV or Excel file. Ensure the Ticker symbol is in the first column (Column A) and its allocation percentage or amount is in third column (Column C). Alternatively, you can use our built-in UI to add tickers manually or explore platform features on our Features page.

Are my portfolio entries safe?

Yes. Your direct session data is stored locally in your browser. We offer an encrypted bridge to persist your setup securely in your own Google Firebase environment if you opt to utilize those features.
